To me the dog represents the loyal Friend. They are pack animals and are very important to the family . Dogs love to play and will open the heart to that, but also will protect the home. Think about the type of dog you see .. and think of what the breeds characteristics? Is it a small playful companion? Do you need to play ? Or a strong guard dog ? Do you need to be on your watch ?

Dogs are also sacred to the underworld. There is a three headed dog Cerberus that guards the river Styx to keep the souls from escaping.
