Licorice Root

This herb is 50 times sweeter than sugar, but don’t let that fool you, it has many healing uses.  Because it is a demulcent , it has anti-inflammatory properties. Also it is an expectorant, which makes it great for a cough. It is great for bronchitis when mixed with honey and drunk in tea form.  As an adrenal agent, it helps to relieve stress.  It is also a mild laxative, so be careful not to take too much!
 
It’s magickal quality is in increasing passion.  As such , it is often added to love and lust sachets and carried to attract love.

  1. Licorice root is for compelling another person, to get them to go voluntarily along with what you want. Licorice, along with calamus root and other ingrediants, are often used in "domination" recipes for oils, incense, powders, and other spiritual products.
